Grandpa's got a brand new hair-do!

Those of you who know our grandpa will recognize him in this top picture because as long as I have known him he has had this hair style.... used to be darker but pretty much the same.
Well he gathered us all around & gave us the opportunity to see him go from that to this......
Here he is admiring his son's hair buzzing job....
& finally to this.... His new hair-do, at least for a little while :-) We love you grandpa!!!!

Vegas Baby!

What's almost as fun as a vacation with your family? A vacation with your girlfriends!! This last weekend some of my girlfriends & I loaded in the car & headed to Vegas... What do Mormon girls do in Vegas?? SHOP of course!! We had a great time. Here are just some of the pictures of the weekend.... I never did get a picture of all 6 of us so hopefully Angie or Laura will post those on their blogs.
Sitting at a stop light looking at the strip.... Not too bad for my camera phone!! The lights look much better in person.
Laura, Angie & I at Serendipity
4 of the girls at lunch before another day of shopping!
This picture is my favorite! Mainly because we had already been yelled at for taking pictures... I guess your not supposed to take pictures in Victoria's Secret. Can you tell I'm trying to be sly? Ha ha...We were patiently waiting for one of the girls in the dressing room.

Happy Birthday Nate!

The many faces (or hairstyles of Nate)... It's hard to get a good picture of him, he does not like to have pictures taken which is sad because he is such a handsome young man!!!

This past Saturday we had a surprise birthday party for Nate's 18th birthday. It was a success! (which I was afraid he would figure it out before hand... it's hard keeping a secret from a teenager!!). Thanks to all the family & friends who came to help celebrate this exciting birthday with us. I can't believe that Nate will be 18 this coming Sunday... hard to believe it's been 18 years since he was born. What an easy baby he was (especially compared to Zak). It has been an exciting 18 years! I sure do love this kid & am already sad thinking about him leaving for his mission. (Although there isn't anywhere else I would want him to be!!). I love you son, Happy Birthday!!!
